Stay Connected – ISDN & PSTN Lines Ceasing

As you may be aware, Eir will no longer be installing new ISDN lines after 31st January 2025. All other carriers have also since ceased installations.

They will continue to support the lines but it will be inevitable that fault support will slowly diminish.

However, there are alternatives to replacing the ISDN whilst still keeping your numbers.

  1. Replace ISDN and PSTN lines with SIP Trunks to connect to Phone system.
  2. Upgrade to a Cloud Phone system

If you feel you may be impacted, please don’t hesitate to contact Lantel to discuss any of the above alternatives.
